Stephen is a passionate wildlife photographer, his passion for photography came after being introduced by a friend to his local camera club. Stephen had been suffering with his mental and physical health after leaving the army, he found himself needing something that would occupy his mind and photography gave him what he needed.
Stephen says, “Photography saved my life”. He is open about his mental health issues and does what he can to help others who are having difficulties coping. Stephen recently joined the Disabled Photographers Society (DPS). He has won many competitions in the wildlife category and also had an article published in the DPS monthly magazine, talking about coping with Mental Health issues.
The next step on Stephens photographic journey will be delivering workshops on Wildlife photography in the East Yorkshire Area.
