Ian is a wheelchair user who has Multiple sclerosis, he is also a photographer with a passion for Wildlife and Conservation photography. This has seen him travel to Africa working with a charity to help safeguard the wildlife within a reserve. Ian’s role was to photograph the Animals that entered the park in order to build a comprehensive photo register, as well as running a photography workshop. He is also a keen sports photographer and has worked with both the British Olympic Association and the British Paralympic Association. The Royal Ballet is another one of Ian’s passions and he has photographed five performances as well as taking shots of the company and has had his images included in many publications including country life magazine. Ian is also a keen Disability inclusion advocate and states that his wheelchair gives him a different perspective, and rather than his Disability being problematic it is more often advantageous as he gets the best seat in most venues, for Ian his disability has meant that he has had to make some adjustments in relation to the kit that he carries, for example less lenses and other equipment, however this has meant that Ian has become a more creative, and skilled photographer.
